You obviously don’t understand what he was talking about. Medicare Advantage is a plan that doesn’t give people any more than regular Medicare. It just pays insurance companies to give people the same care the government does cheaper. It’s one of the sleaziest corporate giveaways in American history, and one of the Bush Administration’s many low points. Get rid of it, and seniors will still get exactly the same benefits, while the taxpayer will save. The only folks who will lose out are the sleazy insurance companies.
